Lily Dale Cottage is set on the outskirts of the quaint village of Batahar, on the left bank of the Beas River, between Manali and Naggar (30 mins drive to Manali and 15 minute drive to Naggar). With a huge fruit and flower garden, this charming cottage overlooks a protected forest of Cedar and Pine trees. It has stunning views of snow peaked mountains and the Kullu valley. It has a quiet, peaceful and harmonious vibe which is perfect to chill out and rejuvenate as guests have the entire cottage (ground floor) and gardens to themselves.

A known Indian artist’s mountain home, Lily Dale cottage is full of artistic inspiration where touches of colour and creative details abound. Artfully and cheerfully decorated, the cottage has 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, 1 large living room, fully equipped kitchen, gas, fridge, microwave, heater, iron, kettle, hairdryer, sheets and towels, wireless connectivity, satellite television, 24 hour check in, fully equipped kitchen, oil heaters, LCD television, fine art.

Forest walk / Picnic

Daily walks can be taken to the adjoining protected forest where you can picnic in the forest or by the stream.

Visit the Gauri Shankar temple

This stunning temple, built in the 11 th Century is situated in the village of Dashar (20 mins walk or 10 mins drive).

Beas River Walk / Picnic

Daily walks or a picnic can be had on the banks of the roaring Beas River (10 mins walk)

Explore Naggar

Drive to Nagar to explore the 15 th  century Nagar Castle, visit the ancient Tripura Sundari pagoda temple and the Nicholas Roerich Museum and home

Jana Falls

Drive to Jana falls, through a beautiful forest drive and eat the local dhaba food, specially Lingrhi, the famous Kullu fern which is a delicacy. You can also enjoy a refreshing bath at this falls or you can even leisurely swim in the small pool of this falls.

Piliya Naag Temple

Visit the Batahar village Deity’s temple and experience the local morning and evening prayer ceremonies which are accompanied by bajantaris (musicians), who play their local instruments and music

Dagpo Shedrupling Monastery

This recent addition to the list of attractions in Naggar, was built in 2005 and is home not only to Spirituality and Buddhism but also some of the most breathtaking views and backdrops of the area. The monastery is dedicated to His Holiness Dalai Lama.

Bijli Mahadev Temple

This stunning Shiva temple is one of the most sacred and ancient temples of Himachal Pradesh (altitude :2,460m). A 3 hour drive from Batahar, it has a panoramic view of Kullu and Paravati valleys. It is said that every year, either the Shiva Lingam or his sacred wooden staff gets mysteriously hit by a lightning bolt. The lingam breaks up into pieces and the priest ritually puts it together by using cereal, pulse flour and unsalted butter. After a few months, the lingam takes solid shape like before. According to local belief, the lightning strike is sheer divine grace and divine blessings, which enhance the powers of the Lingam.

Manikaran Sahib

Solang Valley

Solang valley is also known as the 'Snow Valley,' famous for hosting adventure sports like skiing, paragliding, trekking and mountaineering. This gorgeous valley is one of the most picturesque in Manali (2,560 meters),offering majestic views of surroundings glaciers and snow capped mountains Do take the ski lift to the higher reaches of the mountain, for walks amidst wildflowers, in the summer.
